Vinification

Harvesting: selective hand harvesting, optimal sorting system, peristaltic pump.
Traditional vinification in concrete and stainless steel vats, temperature control, delestage twice a day, pouring in barrels after malolactic fermentation.

Aging: in 100% new French oak barrels for 18 months.

Château Gugès is nestled in the heart of the wine-growing region Médoc, in a building erected in 1785. A cuvée confidentielle is produced with full respect for the Médoc traditions. After a few years in the bottle, it will reveal the best of itself: its body, its heart and its soul.
