Grand Vin du Château Gugès, Haut-Médoc AOC
An incomparable «Big brother» and by far the eldest among the Château GUGÈS’ red wines, the Château GUGÈS Grand Vin expresses the quintessence of the domaine. From the oldest parcels of the estate, some of which are centuries old, this terroir produces exceptional vintages. Five grape varieties that make it up, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Black Merlot, 15% Petit Verdot, 10% Cabernet Franc and 5% Carmenère, each brings a special and essential touch to its aromatic and tannic richness. All together they will be sublimated by an aging of 18 months in barrels, 40% of which are renewed for each vintage.
